The countdown has begun!  Just a week from today most of you will be down in Merida!

I trust this message finds you well!  We are at the two month count down mark and all I can say is “yikes!” (grin)…  The planning is coming down to the nitty gritty details and here is one of them that many have been requesting!

Please find below the three registries we are registered at:

2) MOMA Store… this is a pseudo registry so you will have to do some extra “work” if you order anything from the list.   Moma doesn’t have a true wedding registry so I created a “shopping cart” that you can log into, write down the item numbers, log out and create your own shopping cart to order. 

Here are the steps:

a)  www.momastore.org

b) click on “my account” (upper right hand corner of screen)… username: lauvega;  password: merida07

c) click OK (if it tells you that our MOMA membership is about to expire, we know!) 

d) ”My Account” will pop up on the screen which includes our mailing address

This year is 2007 and we  hope that the spirit of the Yucatan will entice you to join us on this journey to create more wonderful memories on this great adventure.

Since you have taken the time to travel afar for the celebration, we think you deserve some R&R.  We had a chance to research some eco-chic resorts along the Mayan Riviera.  I’ve contacted the owners at Amansala and Shambala Petit Hotel who are interested in hosting our group.  These eco-chic resorts are located in a semi-remote area but there not as economical as the all inclusives that are found closer to Cancun.

So there is a lot of choice!  I’ve also included websites on the many different activities available in the area.

Let me know if you have any questions!  I believe those who are planning to hang out and relax at the beach are going after the wedding from November 12 -18th…

If you want a close and economical place to hang out, try researching an area 30 minutes north of Merida called, Progreso.  You can rent houses for $500-$800 a week that can sleep 2-10 people.  www.vacationrentals.com
